Winter in Tilburg 2017

From 8 December to 1 January, there will be Winter in Tilburg is taking place once again. Even when it’s cold and dark, this atmospheric event brings warmth and conviviality to the city centre. This year, there will once again be around 30 fairground attractions at the Winter Fair, including a family rollercoaster, a snow slide and a Christmas train! But that’s not all. Thanks to the 350 (!) decorated Christmas trees, cheerful festive lights, fire pits, choirs and stalls selling delicious, warming winter treats, Tilburg’s city centre is particularly atmospheric this month.

Combine your visit to Winter in Tilburg 2017 with your festive shopping. You’re guaranteed to find presents for St Nicholas and Christmas, as well as festive decorations or a sparkling party outfit, in Tilburg. Either in the high street with all its new additions, or in the cosy Dwaalgebied. Please do check the updated opening hours.

Parking in the city centre during Winter in Tilburg  

Are you coming to Winter in Tilburg by car? Naturally, you’ll want to park your car close to the event. During the Winter Fair, there are no road closures in the city centre, so it’s easily accessible. This also applies to the Heuvelpoort car park. The biggest advantage of parking here is that when you walk out of the car park, you’re straight into the heart of Winter in Tilburg. There’s plenty to do in the final weeks of 2017 at venues including Heuvelplein, Piusplein, Pieter Vreedeplein and Heuvelstraat. The Heuvelpoort car park is therefore the ideal base.
