Come along to the Piushaven Festival of Lights in December

A cultural show with a wintry atmosphere. That’s what you can expect at the Piushaven Light Festival. In early December, the harbour comes alive with light, music, stories and poems. From 8.00 pm, you can enjoy a wide variety of performances and shows at over 20 venues.

Cultural performance
Immerse yourself in a wintry Christmas atmosphere during this continuous cultural performance, which stretches for almost a kilometre. The programme runs from Burgemeester Jansen to Villa Pastorie and features everything from poetry to acoustic music and theatre. Along the quayside, on several boats in Tilburg’s museum harbour, on terraces, on the Love Boat, in covered carts and at venues both indoors and outdoors, the public can enjoy this wonderful event. In between, you can warm up by the fire pits and enjoy a hot drink at one of the bars and restaurants around the harbour.

Parking
If you decide to come to the Festival of Lights by car, you can park easily and affordably at the Heuvelpoort car park. From the car park, it’s a walk of barely ten minutes to Piushaven. The beautiful illuminations in the city centre immediately set the right mood. On arrival at the harbour, a line of fire pits, Christmas trees from the Stadstuinderij and floating light installations on the water will guide you to the various venues. After a lovely evening, you’ll be back at the car park in no time and can continue on your way home.

In short
Enjoy love, light and warmth at Piushaven in Tilburg and visit the Festival of Lights.
