Parking in a multi-storey car park feels better than parking on the street

On average, Dutch people rate their parking experience whilst shopping at 7.8. This is according to research carried out by Erasmus University Rotterdam and Yellowbrick. 95 per cent of those surveyed gave the parking facilities during their most recent shopping trip a passing mark, whilst two-thirds even rated them 8 or higher.

In large cities, consumers slightly prefer to park in a car park rather than on the street. However, the ease of finding a parking space is more important than the cost of parking. As long as the costs are clearly and transparently communicated, the price has little impact on shoppers’ satisfaction.

Heuvelpoort Car Park is Tilburg’s fairest car park, where you pay by the minute. If you use the Stadsparkeren app or card, you even pay by the second. With the various payment options available at the Heuvelpoort Car Park, you’ll never pay too much to park your car whilst you’re out shopping.
