Hudson’s Bay Tilburg is open

Huge gaps appeared in Dutch high streets when V&D closed its doors. The Hudson’s Bay department store chain is filling those gaps in many major cities, including Tilburg. Renovation work has been ongoing for some time, and from 19 September, 10 branches will be officially opening their doors in quick succession. The first branch opened in Amsterdam, and Hudson’s Bay is now open in Tilburg too. On 30 September, the grand opening at the Tilburg branch.

Hudson’s Bay describes itself as a ‘premium brand department store’ with a wide range of products, from fashion for women, men and children, shoes and cosmetics to gift items and homewares. You’ll find the department store on Heuvelstraat, in the former V&D building. A La Place restaurant has also opened within the Hudson’s Bay branch. The Canadian retail chain is expected to give the Tilburg shopping district a boost.
