Parking during the 2019 carnival

It’s carnival time again in Kruikenstad! For three days, the word ‘alaaf’ reigns supreme in Tilburg – and the surrounding area. Let’s hope the weather gods are on our side and give us a lovely – dry – carnival. In any case, the Heuvelpoort car park will ensure your car stays dry, as you can park your car here even during carnival and the car park is open 24 hours a day.

Carnival 2019 is extra special; this year marks exactly 55 years since the festival was first permitted. Five times eleven – a wonderful anniversary! In the past, the festival was banned and could only be celebrated within the confines of a club or behind closed doors. People who ventured out onto the streets in fancy dress were fined by the police. Fortunately, that’s no longer the case these days, and the festival now stands for creativity and fun.

The Heuvelpoort car park is open for you

Will you be watching the parade or singing along at ‘Kruikenstad in Koor’? Or would you rather dance the night away with people in their festive best in one of the many cafés? The Heuvelpoort car park is – as always – open 24 hours a day during carnival.

Restricted access during D’n Opstoet

On Carnival Sunday (3 March), however, access to the garage will be restricted between 10.00 and 18.00 due to D’n Opstoet. Have you buy Cialis without a prescription Are you driving, or are you Bob? If so, please allow for delays. Between the parade’s start time at 12.30 pm and the prize-giving ceremony at 5.00 pm, it will not even be possible to enter or leave the car park. Tilburg city centre will then be partially closed to all traffic other than parade floats. On the other days of the carnival, there’s no problem reaching the car park. On behalf of Heuvelpoort Car Park: we wish you a very happy carnival! Alaaf!
