With the setting sun and a spectacular view of the Tilburg skyline as a backdrop? On Saturday evening, 11 August, you can \u2013 at the Heuvelpoort Car Park! That\u2019s when the Brommerbios will be setting up on the roof of our car park. This unique \u2013 and free \u2013 experience is part of the Kaapstad event. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A \u2018drive-in cinema\u2019, but with a twist. You can drive into the car park, but you won\u2019t be watching the film from your car. We\u2019ll be making it cosy on the roof. But feel free to bring your own blankets or cushions! The film starts at <a href=\"http:\/\/kaapstadtilburg.nl\/programma\/de-mobiele-buitenbioscoop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saturday evening, 11 August at 9.00 pm<\/a> \u2013 as it starts to get dark \u2013 on the roof of the Heuvelpoort car park. Will we see you there? Entry is free.<\/p>\n<h2><strong><br \/>\nLegendary city hack<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You are about to watch the 2008 biographical documentary film \u2018Man on Wire\u2019, which tells the story of a daring \u2013 and illegal \u2013 feat. In 1974, Frenchman Philippe Petit stretched a rope between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre in New York and walked across it. Considered by many to be the artistic crime of the century. And a legendary City Hack. The perfect film for this unique setting.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Kaa<\/strong><strong>pstad<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>During <a href=\"http:\/\/kaapstadtilburg.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cape Town<\/a> For a whole weekend \u2013 from 10 to 12 August \u2013 Tilburg\u2019s city centre will be taken over by artists. You\u2019ll find the most extraordinary City Hacks and Art Take-overs in all sorts of places across Tilburg city centre. In this way, the organisers aim to spark creativity and a sense of wonder. You are warmly invited to come and have a look \u2013 and to join in yourself!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Moped Cinema<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Brommerbios is a mobile open-air cinema, built on a vintage moped from the 1970s. The Brommerbios sets up in the city\u2019s most beautiful spots, at unexpected locations and at unpredictable moments. On 11 August, it will be at the Heuvelpoort Car Park. This concept was developed by spatial designer Maarten Slot and programme organiser Lotte Walrave; together, they share a love of films, old mopeds and lovely summer evenings in special places.
